MINDA welcomes 12 trainees and students

On August 3, 2020, some young hearts throughout Germany have certainly beaten faster: Start of apprenticeship! Start into practice-oriented studies! Many new impressions and tasks come up to our young talents. All the better if you feel safe and sound from the very beginning. This is particularly important to MINDA for the start of trainees and students.

New start in Corona times: Our trainees and students 2020. As a precaution, with distance and out in the fresh air in front of the camera.

We are happy to welcome 12 young people to the MINDA team this year and to accompany them during the coming years on their way to their everyday working lives.

6 electronics technicians for industrial engineering, 3 construction mechanics, 2 mechatronics technicians and a student for the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering started with us and found their way to MINDA in a variety of ways.

It was the direct contact via the own family, neighbors or friends which moved some of our newcomers to apply for a job here in Minden. But also our festival 2019 for the 40th anniversary, student practical trainings, info days at schools or research via the internet have drawn the attention of our trainees to MINDA with the result to apply for a job with us.

We are particularly happy to welcome also a new female arrival in the field of electronics technicians for industrial engineering. Even though this apprenticed profession is more frequently chosen by male applicants, this is by no means an obstacle for female candidates. Likewise in the construction mechanics field we have been having female support for 2 years and can proudly say: Our ladies are in no way inferior to the boys. This is teamwork at eye level.

Another new feature this year is our apprenticed profession as a mechatronics engineer. We can be happy about two newcomers here and are curious to see how this branch of apprenticeship will develop in the coming years.

But not everything was "new" this year. As a student for the Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering we could welcome a well-known face. Mick Koch completed his apprenticeship as a construction mechanic with us in 2019, added his vocational baccalaureate and decided to walk his future path with MINDA. He will start his studies at the campus of Minden (FH Bielefeld) in the coming semester.

However, in the end, we are happy about every new addition and are eager to see how every single one develops in the coming months and years. On behalf of the management and all colleagues a very warm welcome for joining the MINDA team!
